Hello there, my name is Colin Mackay, and I have been lucky enough to be born and brought up in Edinburgh, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the capital city of Scotland, without doubt the most beautiful country in the world - though I do admit that I may just be ever so slightly biased !

After 30 years in the Gas Industry I now work in a city centre shop, but when weather, work, and time, permit, I enjoy nothing more than being able to get out and about with my camera, photographing anything and everything that I feel makes for a good picture. Whether I succeed in that, or not, is up to you to decide !

My photos are taken all over Scotland, and are of plants, landmarks, and landscapes, wildlife, buildings, and trees, so there's something there for all tastes.
